Finding your STYLE

There is a very big difference between FASHION and STYLE. Fashion is the current trend or the look of the season, but style is the image you present yourself as whether it is in fashion or not.

Some styles that you may know are Classic, Urban/Street, Bohemian, Creative, Masculine, Elegant, Feminine, Sexy and these are just to name a few.

Many of us might like to occasionally be all of these styles and it will fluctuate. A great way to find your base style is to create a Pinterest board, in the Pinterest app. Search through the different styles, famous people or the current season and see what pops up that you like. Pin everything you are drawn to and eventually you will see a pattern. (if you don't want to do this in an app, you can always cut and paste looks to a large sheet of card). This will now be the inspiration or mood board for your wardrobe.

Once you have these images collected you can create a wish list of what's missing from your current wardrobe items, to recreate these looks. Remember, when purchasing your new items that you should follow the guidelines that suit YOUR body shape. For e.g. if you need a white t-shirt and you are an hourglass shape, then go for a white t-shirt with an open neckline. A crew neck t-shirt will make you look top heavy and take away the gorgeous shape you already have.

Have a great time creating your STYLE inspiration board!
